About me and the program

I developed my weight loss program while working as a primary care physician and quickly came to realize the need for a sustainable and approachable path to weight loss. As my patients continued to amaze me month after month I discovered that continuing in weight management full time was the right thing for me not just professionally but personally. I absolutely love partaking in the weight loss journey with my patients and watching them find the size they feel themselves in while also helping them decrease their risks of cardiovascular disease, diabetes, hypertension, arthritis, and other medical conditions linked to obesity.

My philosophy behind weight management is that everyone has a size that they feel their best in. This can be a large range of BMI’s and inches. Weight is not one size fits all and achieving a goal weight looks different on everyone. My goal as a physician is to help my patients be healthy physically and mentally and each patient program is tailored to the individual.

In addition to my passion for weight management I am a huge dog lover. My husband and I run a dog rescue, FosterDocHouston Dog Rescue. We began the shelter in 2022 after converting a back unit into a shelter. We have since grown in size and scope and have moved to acreage in Magnolia to expand the shelter and help more pups. Saving dogs and giving them good lives with their forever families was always a dream of mine and it is truly a blessing and privilege to do it everyday.
